TV software is different from phone software
Android TV and Google TV are designed around a television interface. An Android phone app may not provide a usable remote-control experience on a TV. Check that the store listing explicitly supports your television or box and the Android version it runs.
Find the player through the device store
On Google TV, use Search or the Apps tab to find available apps. Review the publisher, price and supported functions before installing. App availability depends on the device and region. Once installed, confirm whether the player accepts the account format supplied by your authorised provider.

Check playback and everyday controls
Test channel switching, the programme guide, subtitles and audio on the actual screen. If the interface responds slowly, check storage and background apps before blaming the stream. Confirm connection limits before leaving another household device playing at the same time.
